Corporate Social Responsibility

An integrated outreach program responsive to the needs of the undeserved populations is a long commitment of the institution. The Community Outreach Department in partnership with the administrative officials, the teaching and the non-teaching staff, students, and alumni of the various schools/ colleges and various work units, as well as the members of the various COP organizations - Community Outreach Movement Pro-Active Student Service (COMPASS), Teachers Empowering Approach as Community Helpmates (TEACH), Support Personnel Outreach Team (SUPPORT) and Collaborators of Helpful Alumni Who Are Involved Now (CHAIN) - accomplished the following programs:

·         Integrated Medical-Dental-Optical  mission for the residents of the Manila Boystown Complex in Parang (Marikina),  GK VANA Purok 5 Barangay Tatalon (Quezon City), Krus na Ligas (Quezon City), North Harbor Port, Tondo and also in Quiapo(Manila).

·         Psychological- Social- Spiritual activities for the Luwalhati ng Maynila , Manila Boystown Complex (MBTC)

·         Livelihood seminar-workshop/ business competency training  for the MBTC Luwalhati ng Maynila

·         Health and Nutrition education, commercial cooking, waiter staff services, catering training for the MBTC residents

·         Adopt a child activity and a feeding program  for the MBTC young boys and girls

·          Life skills activity and personality development for the MBTC boys and girls

·         Intensive tutorial on Office Productivity Tool  for MBTC

·         Lecture-seminar on disaster risk reduction and management at MBTC

·         Entrepreneurial activities like Acapulco cream making, cologne making, T-shirt printing for the MBTC residents

·         Maki-bayani, Maki-bahagi  relief  operation campaign for the typhoon victims of Maring and Habagat in Einstein Street and Brgy. San Isidro, spearheaded by the School of Law and Jurisprudence

·         CEU calamity assistance project for the typhoon Yolanda victims.

 



·         “copA  Bead of Hope This Christmas” project for the renovation of some churches in Bohol damaged by the intensity 7 earthquake
